BRIAN KRAUSE
A Los Angeles native Brian Krause becomes a Hollywood heartthrob by chance when he’s chosen for “Return of the Blue Lagoon” with Milla Jovovich. That leads to him being cast as Leo Wyatt on The WB television series “Charmed” and for portraying the lead role of Charles Brady in the 1992 horror film “Sleepwalkers”. After that Brian has been part of over 120 titles including “Mad Men” and “Castle”. He has a lot of Hollywood stories to share.
GABRIELLE GONSALVES
Gabrielle Gonsalves is a representative of INITIATIVE FILM in Paris and she is very experienced on the bridges between cinema/TV and literature built over the past ten years or so. Born in France and raised in Clermont-Ferrand, Gabrielle spent 5 years in Scotland where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Film and Television studies from the University of Glasgow. She worked in film education at international children’s film festival Plein la Bobine, and as a location scout on advertising and short film sets. She graduated with a Masters in Film Production in 2022, alongside which she worked as a production assistant in a 2D and 3D animation studio in Montpellier.
MARTIN PETROV
Martin I. Petrov is a film festival professional, strategist, consultant and film events specialist. He is the founder and festival director at WoFF: World of Film International Festival In Glasgow, UK, now in its 11th edition. He is a member of the European Film Academy since 2020. With long experience in film curation, Martin also works closely with distributors and young creators, tailoring festival strategies for independent filmmakers. He has also co-produced the Montreal International Animation Film Festival – Animaze for 5 years, along with its offspring Animation Day in Cannes, an annual meeting spot for animation during the Cannes Film Festival. Martin has long standing partnerships and collaborations with festivals, platforms and film media with global outreach and is currently making his first steps into film production.
ELIZABETH KORMANOVA
Elizabeth Kormanova is an entertainment lawyer and a producer. Elizabeth graduated in law from Paris 1 La Sorbonne and specialized in film production at La Femis. Her experience as a producer started with the short “Lifelong” which premiered at San Sebastian Film Festival 2013. Elizabeth served as director of business affairs for 6 years at the London-based Hanway Films founded by Oscar-winning producer Jeremy Thomas. Currently, Elizabeth is heading the business affairs team of London-based Film & TV studio Rocket Science, financing and producing feature films.
YANNIS PALAVOS
Yannis Palavos is a film programmer, part of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival program team. Born in 1980, Yannis studied Journalism and Arts Administration in Thessaloniki and Athens. He joined TIFF and TIDF in 2016, with a focus on Southeastern European cinema and documentary programming. Apart from his work at TIFF and TIDF, he is an author and translator, recipient of the Greek National Literature Prize; his books have been translated into several languages, while his achievements as a translator include literary works authored by William Faulkner, Flannery O’Connor, Tobias Wolff.
HANKA KASTELICOVÁ
Hanka Kastelicová is the VP and Executive Producer of Documentaries for MAX in Europe. Based in the Prague office, she is responsible for the development and production of HBO’s documentary films and series in Europe. Hanka is passionate about nurturing European stories rooted in the rich local tradition of visual storytelling and resonating with global audiences. The documentaries she co-produces are giving strong insights into its subject, creating debates, showing a different perspective, and are daring, creative and innovative. She co-produced films that resonated with HBO viewers, achieved recognition at festivals, and garnered nominations and awards from local Film Academies and the European Film Academy; on top of that, “Collective” by Alexander Nanau had two Oscar nominations.
COSTAS CONSTANDINIDES
Dr. Costas Constandinides is a faculty member of the Journalism Program in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cyprus. He is the author of “From Film Adaptation to Post-celluloid Adaptation” (2010, Continuum) and co-editor of “Cypriot Cinemas: Memory, Conflict, and Identity in the Margins of Europe” (2014, Bloomsbury Academic). He has published work in peer-reviewed international publications, and he is a member of the editorial board of the peer-reviewed journal Adaptation (Oxford University Press). He is a member of the European Film Academy and former co-artistic director of the Cyprus Film Days International Festival.
MARTICHKA BOJILOVA
Martichka Bojilova is one of the most successful Bulgarian producers that tells stories all over the world. An award-winning producer, her films are mainly creative documentaries with an international potential and a strong author’s style. Producer of all of AGITPROP’s films and winner of the International Trailblazer Award at MIPDOC 2006, Cannes. Martichka is co-founder and director of Balkan Documentary Center, an initiative of the team behind AGITPROP, with a focus on catalyzing the creation and distribution of critical minded documentaries and social campaigns in the Balkans.
KATYA TRICHKOVA
Katya Trichkova is a Bulgarian producer. Since 2011 she has been working as a freelance producer for different Bulgarian production companies, such as Argo Film (founded by Bulgarian director Stephan Komandarev (“The world is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner”, among the 9 Short Listed foreign films for 2010 Oscar Award). She gained additional knowledge in number of training programmes such as: EAVE, EURODOC, Sarajevo Talent Campus, Kyoto Filmmakers Lab. Katya was a producer on this year’s winner for short film of Palme d‘Or for Best Short Film at the Cannes Film Festival with “The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent,“ directed and written by Croatian filmmaker Nebojsa Slijepcevic.
